While living alone with Gram, after losing his mother and father in a car accident two years ago, Bobby Handle worries he might be forgetting his parents. But, when Bobby gets a small white puppy as an early Christmas present, the days seem brighter and he soon learns how magical the season can be.

With TreboR by his side, Bobby survives near tragedy when he falls from a jagged cliff while on a picnic outing. And, as if that’s not enough, the very next day, he slips through an icy hole into a deep, not-so-frozen pond. After being rescued, once again, by TreboR, Bobby sinks into unconsciousness. Gram fears the worst but Bobby miraculously awakens.
