Levi Puskaric is an ordinary sixteen year old. He has a best friend, James; parents, a sister and a weird Polish grandmother who dresses in black, making signs to ward off evil.

Together, Levi and James are ‘The Team’ and one day; they are going to Make It Big. They just haven’t figured out how yet.

For ‘The Team’, it doesn’t come bigger than killing a monster and saving the town. More

About Carol Knee-Omant

In short, I am:
A little bit mad, but not psychotic
A conversationalist, but not a talker
Romantic, but not idealistic
Believing, but not gullible
Self absorbed at times, but not narcissistic
Knowledgeable, but still learning
Adventurous, but not foolhardy
Pragmatic, but not hard headed
Imaginative, but not avant-garde
Watchful, but not mistrustful
Professional, but not an expert
Intelligent, but not brilliant
Not a mind reader, but a good guesser

Random beliefs:
- Cooking is a passion that should be approached with music and a glass of red;
as with most things in life.
- Anything said in Latin sounds profound; which is weirdly true.
- Life rule number one: Never love anyone, that can't love you back.

My life:
I work full time. Write. Am addicted to "Sons of Anarchy" and "True Blood" - but as a general rule, prefer music over television.

I come from a large, boisterous family.
My partner Chris, is a writer.
I have 3 children. He also has 3.
We are like the Brady Bunch - just not as nice.

I borrowed this book from a friend, simply could not put it down so decided the best thing was to purchase it .
I am not young and know this was written for young people ,however, I have enjoyed it very much.
I love the way this author makes you feel you are in the middle of the story,I felt the fear and the laughs and suspense and certainly want to read more of her work.
The only down side was it ended.
Simply loved it.MRG

I loved this book!! It was so well written. The author had me tingling with fear and then laughing out loud with every page.

I felt a real connection to the characters and the only let down was when to book came to an end and I couldn't go on reading it.

Will definitely be on the look out for the authors next book!

I loved the suspense in this book. There was a constant sense that the worst was about to happen. The characters were believable and the grandmother was like some of the old women i used to see in the delicatessens around Caulfield when i was growing up in the sixties. Highly recommended.
