I've read a lot of romance books, and this story is miles above the rest. Beautifully written, the sex scenes weren't the badly scripted "porn" you often find in short stories, but instead revealed a riveting tale of deep passion. I'm really looking forward to seeing what else this writer has in store for us!

I would recommend reading Max. This story was phenomenal. The sex scenes were hot, not overly described, and approached in a fresh, extremely enticing manner. But there's more. This story is just that -- a story. I was caught by surprise by the ending, which I won't divulge here. Throughout, I was drawn in by the mystery of the story, and the main female character was simply an arousing creation. I worked for several years as a chemical substance abuse technician and found the dramatic subject matter here was dealt with realistically. Great story by an accomplished writer.

I liked it. It wasn't really what I expected, and maybe that's what I liked. It was well written and enjoyable, if maybe not exactly believable, but what the heck? It's fiction, right?
