A really lovely book with wonderful pictures from an artist (and man) gone far too soon from the world. Cherish this work. It deserves it.

This is a book of beautiful images that feel at once familiar and mysterious. Because the images begin from source material from the natural world, which is then digitally manipulated to create unexpected patterns and objects, the pictures seem to exist at an intersection between culture and organic forms--a newly discovered world or civilization. The detail in each image is astounding, and there is a meditative quality to looking at these pictures that makes each viewing a quiet, renewed pleasure.
