I was very impressed by this story. It was like a B movie yet remarkably original. Lucas Mangum is a hell of a writer and this is a hell of a scary tale!

Great quick read. Mangum's chilling scenes linger long after the last word

A great debut for Lucas Mangum. Twisted enough for any horror lover.

For it's brevity, Mangum manages to imbue his characters with some very realistic flaws. As a work of genre fiction, it provides a pretty thought provoking look at the different aspects of an abusive relationship, even if the people in it aren't aware it is abusive. Mix in some good old fashioned monsters and violence and "Goblins" is a hell of good lunch break read that will keep you thinking about some of its heavier themes long after you've clocked back in.
