About Jon Kyle Ezell

I am called to help heart patients.
Richard Simmons is my hero.
He didn't have a heart attack, but he amazes me.
In much the same way he reaches obese people who are desperate to be thin and healthy, I want to reach heart attack victims who need help getting better.
I want to run around the world and meet millions of people just like Richard does.
I want to do this because I sincerely care.
When something like a near-fatal heart attack alters your life, priorities shift.
Dumb things don’t matter anymore and most things are dumb.
But helping people is not dumb.
I know people need my help because I needed my help!
As a person who truly knows what it’s like to face mortality brought forth by a heart malfuction, I want to be there for others.
I want to run marathons with others I’ve inspired.
We can wear tee-shirts that say “I had a heart attack—what’s your excuse?”
We can cry together as we rejoice at the finish line.
There is a voice inside that is clearly telling me that this is what I must do.
Just like Richard Simmons does for obese people.
