Haunted

Rated 4.91/5 based on 12 reviews
Haunted is a collage of short stories about a few of the otherworldly experiences I’ve had. Although they are not movie worthy, you may find them interesting. All the stories are %100 true. Nothing has been added for dramatic effect. More

About Willow Cross

Willow Cross is a self-proclaimed vamp enthusiast, were-hunter, prankster, dreamer, story teller, benevolent dictator of minions, and chocolate lover. She resides in Arkansas with two children still young enough to live at home, an enormous cat named Bitsy, and a neurotic dog named Tank.

Her home has been known to host the occasional ghost and several of her friends profess to be witches. Although she dearly loves Vampires and Werewolves, they are never invited for dinner.

I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This book of short stories sucked me in from the very beginning. The books follows Willow through her life and shares her experiences with ghosts. Which I might add is definitely an above average number of encounters. I felt that this book really hit close to home because I also believe in ghosts and have had my fair share of encounters with them. Although, unlike Willow my experiences haven't been that scary. I also feel that ghost stories are the creepiest of the paranormal genre for that fact that they are real.
This book was a fast- paced read that keeps that reader clinging to the edge of their chair with their heart pounding. I glad that Willow experienced good spirits and not just the scary ones. If I were Willow I wou ls definitely be doing some ghostly research. Thanks Willow for sharing your experiences!

Spookilicious!!
I love this ghost story!! It is like "Exorcist" meets a wicked "Man of my Dreams". ;)
I have read almost all of the Willow Cross books, & I love them all for different reasons! I really like it when one of my favorite authors decides to mix it up a bit!
She literally had me on the edge of my seat. I will be anxiously awaiting more of these ghost stories!

I was gifted this book fairly early this morning and I was so excited to read it I read it right then..... HUGE mistake! Haunted would of been so much better for me to read AFTER the sun had set. At least for the full affect to get to me :-). Even though I messed up because I was so eager it was a good read and one worth breaking out during a girl scout camp out. Hey if your gonna try and scare kids minds well do it with real ghost stories! I also have Haunted II but I'm going to wait until later to read that one. Hope you get scared enough to look over your shoulder, under the bed and in the closet before turning out your light tonight :-). Happy Reading!

Haunted by Willow Cross
It doesn’t matter if you believe in the supernatural or just love a good ghost story Haunted gives you enough to satisfy both. Willow Cross shares her experiences with you and lets you decide whether you want to believe in ghosts or not. The reading of each of the stories took me there with her as she was living through it. I could sense her feelings in her words and descriptions, letting my imagination take over and picture it all as I read. I recommend it for both its ghostly stories and its paranormal aspects. I absolutely love ghost stories! They are one of my favorites.. That being said it still is scary. Knowing that this was a collection of true stories just made it scarier for me! :P I do believe in ghosts and all things supernatural so this definitely was my kinda read.
I love Willow’s style of writing. While reading Haunted I was a bit scared but was laughing at the funny little things too. A short and yet another amazing read :)

This book is several short ghostly stories. I could not put this book down! I am a believer and have my own experiences, which made me love these stories even more. It gave me goosebumps! Reminder: do not read before bed. I am glad to know that their are other people that believe and are brave enough to share those experiences with us. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to know what it feels like to encounter ghost, because the author makes you feel as if you are right there with her. Thanks Willow for a great read and sharing your frightening experiences with us.

Spooked, I couldn't put my electric book down, it would have had to run out of battery first. I read the book in one go. I love the spooky spine tingly sensation it gave me.

After reading Oceans of Red Volume 1, I could not help but jump towards this book! Willow has a way of writing that makes her books totally addicting! Each of these short tales of hauntings were "spooky" yet hilarous at the same time. I love how she incorporated stories where she was completely at ease with the "others" and stories where she was actually afraid herself! My favorite was the last story about the "Blue Girl" in the older house. Every time I move I am always curious to find what was left behind, although I have never found anything as fun as that painting! This is definitely a fun read for the Halloween holiday.
