I've long been a fan of JR's poetry. He ranges from the intensely serious to the flippant flop-me-on-the-floor laughing comedian.
JR often works from photographs making his work visual as he pours emotion into the picture he interprets in the poem. His haiku are no different and I really appreciate his devil-may-care force against self proclaimed experts as he consistently adheres to the 5-7-5 syllable style.
Thank you JR MacLean for the fun and especially that odd donkey in two haikus. :)
