A few hundred years ago, on a continent much different than this, Maximillion and his brother, Maxithousand, had good jobs with the king, Charles the Number.

Maxithousand always was saddened by having a smaller name—but, he was a younger brother, and by the time he was born, his parents had lost most of their money in the stock market crash of 1423, caused by bad bakery conditions.

Maxithousand was there when an anarchist, in an attempted assassination, stabbed Charles the Number.

Charles was returning from a hunting trip at his villa in Brest, and was alighting from his carriage in downtown Nantes, when this guy lunged out from the crowd, and stabbed him in the right arm.

"Ouch," said the king. "What the hell?"
