The seas were not pleasant today. The tide rocked little Sasha and Wendi into one another on the fisherman’s boat. They were quick to grab the oars, and steered themselves in the right direction, making their way into more open, and hopefully, calmer waters.
They dared not go too far though. They knew what would happen if they went too far. They would never be heard of again, and no one would even dare to go look for them. It would simply be said that they, “were taken by the beast.”
Sasha reached for the crab net, and almost fell in while doing so. She had been doing this most of her life, however, and her feet were more adept to the rocking of a boat than to land. She was a young girl, of the age where she should be getting married.
