Authors Note:

The Tale of Sasquatch is the first in The Learning Stage Series. I wrote this book because, when I was a kid, (like Rupert, the hero in this story) I had a Very Big Problem. I was a Very Small Child. And, like Rupert, I had a speech impediment. Talk about embarrassing. People would ask me my name; I'd reply, "Wandy Dawk." They'd laugh. Then they would ask me what I was doing. "Puwwing my widdow wed wagon." They'd laugh harder. Naturally, this made me very nervous about speaking in front of others, which caused me to stutter, too. It was horrible. And everybody -- my parents, my teachers -- always said, "Don't worry. You'll grow out of it." Ya right….
