Steph kissed me on the cheek as she walked by while I straightened my collar in the mirror. "You look fine, babe. Relax."
I looked at her. "Easy for you to say. You're not the one that's going to be in front of the governor. The lieutenant will have my butt if I don't look like the perfect correctional officer."
"He can't have it." She walked up and grabbed the topic of convesation. "This butt's mine." She laughed and stepped back, unbuttoning the top half of her gray uniform shirt. The grin on her face was pure mischief. "We could just stay home and find more entertaining things to do."
