Angie had finally finished the longest day of her life. The play’s run was over. The University’s production of “Red Riding Hood” was the biggest hit the school had ever seen. Four weekends, three shows each and every one of them sold out. She played the leading role, and had really thrown herself into it. In the weeks leading up to the performances, she’d rehearsed almost daily, helped the crew get the set and props ready, and ended up re-doing half the script when one of the writers flaked out. She was backstage and alone, changing out of her costume. Half-undressed, her ears perked up when she heard a shuffling, and the sound of the stage curtain slapping against the wall.
