Willie O’Donnell spoke in a distinctive Australian accent. He was tall and lean, wore a turned up outback style hat and sported shorts in spite of the brisk winds and cool temperature. He was a virtual Aussie movie stereotype. Corrie half expected him to burst into a chorus of Waltzing Matilda at any moment.
