“You don’t have to do this Alex,” Sophia frowned at her friend’s back as she twirled in front of the full length mirror a second time, pulling the price tag from the brand new halter dress she’d purchased just hours earlier.
“Soph come on,” Alex’s nose wrinkled as she took in her friend’s concerned expression, their gazes meeting. “You’re killing my mood. I haven’t been out for Valentine’s day in two years! Now that I’ve finally graduated, I have time to do stuff like this,” Alex smiled as she picked up the diamond pendant her mother had given her, slipping it on the gold chain she never took off.
“Yeah…I agree. It’s time for you to get out there and start dating again, but you met this guy online. How do you know he’s even who he says he is! I just worry…”
