Although there are going to be times that we do not want to hear what the Lord is speaking to us, we may reject it as fast as it is said, we are to be mindful that it will return for us to examine and deal with. We have less pain when we deal with it when it is first brought to our attention instead of waiting until later to handle it. In our stubbornness, we can delay a blessing that we are waiting on because we are not ready to receive it, since we are walking in the hardness of the clay showing instead of being soft and molded by Jesus!
How are you this day in your life, is your clay soft and ready to be molded in all areas or are you still hard in some areas? If you are facing the same thing repeatedly in your life, could it be that you are not allowing the softening of the clay by the water of the Holy Spirit? Could it be that the examination of yourself is not done through open eyes but eyes close tight to the area of weakness that you have? Take this time to open your heart unto the Lord and hear what He has to say to you this day!
Fighting Against the Enemy Within
Proverbs 3:3-13 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. 9Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. 11My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: 12For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. 13Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
