Paul felt happier now. He had an apartment. At first, he struggled to cook and he never cleaned. He made a few friends who lived in the other apartments. And another friend, Vanessa, had knocked on his door and introduced herself. After he had settled in for a few months, someone gave Paul a computer.
There is nothing like getting a computer home and for a few hours plugging things in and getting them to work, and adjusting a few things so it prints. You feel exited and then deflated.
Paul had not had his own computer.
Paul’s apartment can return now as it was before his friend left with only the addition of a computer.
