Chapter 1 Without A Home




A vile stench filled the air. Smoke rose from various piles of debris as if a collection of fires has just been snuffed out and the embers still burned a memory of the flames. The flapping of wings and the screeching wail of bats broke the silence.

The sun started to dip over the horizon, making it's descend and bringing forth the terrible night once again. Dusk in the Dead World is a warning of things to come. Myra knew she had less than an hour to find refuge, a shelter strong enough to keep the demons out but she couldn't give up the search. She couldn't stop now; there was too much at stake. She called out her name.
