Jade Wilson sat on the edge of her bed seeing red. The breathing she was doing to calm herself, wasn’t working. She picked up the small black cordless phone and hurled it across the bedroom causing it to slam against the cream-colored wall with a loud crack. Small and large pieces of black plastic fell to the plush beige carpet in soft thunks.
“Bastard!” she whispered angrily to herself. “That lying bastard.”
Rick, her husband aka the “lying bastard,” had told her that he was hanging out with one of his boys. She’d never even met this, this… Tommy person before, but she had his home number, given to her by Rick in case of an emergency. Well, in her opinion, this situation was an emergency because his ass wasn’t home yet. He told her he wouldn’t be out too late….. it was now exactly 3:05 A.M.
