The bus driver shook his head, the same thing he’d been doing the past hour. “This is the right way, I’m telling you. Just keep following this road.”

Coach Russell grit his teeth. His face burned a bight red. “You said that ten minutes ago.”

And ten minutes ago I was right.”

Eileen nudged Claire with her elbow. “What do you think, Claire?”

Oh, what? Sorry, I was listening to us get lost.”

You think coach is hot?”

Claire thought about it. She looked at his tall, muscular body. Definitely he was a man, not like the boys she’d been with.

He’s all right,” Claire said.
