CHAPTER ONE
Joni would be a beautiful bride and Erika wanted to be happy for her, but she wished it were her marrying Kevin instead of her younger sister. The first time she laid eyes on Kevin Richards; she liked his looks and knew she could fall in love with him. Now she wonders why she ever let him get away.
Selling her beautiful home in Jersey City, she moved to a smaller town, somewhere she could hold her head up…where no one knew her husband had left her for a much younger woman.
After looking at dozens of homes for sale on-line she found an ad for Harper’s Realty in Carrolton, picking up the phone from the table in the hallway she dialed the number.
“Good Morning. Thank you for calling Harper’s Realty. This is Maxine.”
“Yes Good Morning. This is Erika Thompson and I’m calling in reference to the three bedroom home for sale on Morning Glory Lane.”
