Do you know what a terrifying experience is? I bet you don’t. You probably think it’s falling from a building, getting a root canal or even being attacked by a pack of wild dogs, but you’re wrong. Let me tell you what a truly terrifying experience is. Bowling! Now that is one traumatically frightening experience. Don’t laugh. A bowling alley is horrific. I know what you’re thinking. How can a bowling alley be terrifying or traumatic?

For starters you have to put on those shoes. You know those shoes, the ones that have been worn by a million people. Who knows what kind of foot-funk you could get. The staff say they spray every shoe with a disinfectant. How do you really know if they do? You see the guy at the shoe rental counter spraying shoes. A big cloud of powder seems to just hang there. Here’s a mind bender: do you ever see the attendant moving from shoe to shoe? That pair he just sprayed looks exactly like the pair he sprayed five minutes ago. Has to make you wonder doesn’t it? Do you want your feet in a breeding ground like that? But I see you’re still not convinced.
