“It’s beautiful,” Jenny squealed in excitement. “Is it really ours?”
“It certainly is. Here’s the deed. It’s ours, free and clear.”
Jenny threw her arms around Troy’s neck and jumped with joy. “I can’t believe it. I have always dreamed of having a big colonial style home with Cypress trees and grey moss hanging from the branches. It looks like you just reached into my mind and pulled out a picture of my dream home. Look, there’s a Heron flying overhead. It’s just perfect.”
Jenny was surprised and so happy. She had seen this house in her dreams since she was five years old. She had tried many times to describe the place to Troy, but she really didn’t think it existed anywhere but her dreams. When she married Troy five years ago, he promised: “If such a house exists, I’ll find and buy it for you.” It was exactly like the house in her dreams. The trees were exactly where she had pictured them; even the landscaping was the same. Grey moss hung from all the tree, azaleas were blooming clear around the house and both purple and white Wisteria cascaded from the tallest trees. Exactly as in her dreams, the lake was behind the house and she saw several blue Herons wading the edges and occasionally dunking their heads and coming back up with a fish in their mouths.
