I love a good journal, and I like to keep several around to record things going on in my life, and especially one for my weight loss goals. Get started now with your weight loss journal. Start with writing down every thing you eat for a few days. Then count the calories and see how many calories you are consuming daily. This is a simple rule and the only rule you are going to have to be successful in your weight loss quest. You must consume less calories and expend more energy to lose those pounds. So in your journal you will also be keeping a written account of your daily exercise. and your daily intake of food.
