Chapter One


Not a care in the world, just turned eighteen, school was over, and the three girls almost skipped along 89th street east, except that would have been uncool. And if they were anything, these girls were definitely cool. They were also privileged. The institution they were so happy to see the back of was a non-sectarian private school with a student teacher ratio of one to five. New York sparkled in the June sunshine, and Jessica’s large emerald green eyes flashed with excitement.
