Cruising Cape Horn

Cape Horn is a legend in seafaring history. Often swept by gale force winds, this 30-meter high black rock rises out of the ocean floor some ninety kilometres off the shore of the Island of Navarino, which is part of Tierra del Fuego. Seafarers often have reported that they could hear the waves crashing on the rock before they could see it. Others have said that when you can hear it, it’s already too late.
