Chapter 1: The Last Day
The world was about to become easier. It was all just minutes away. But at the moment, I was shivering. Bundle up two long sleeve shirts, sweat shirt and scarf I felt like I was an Eskimo. I even resorted to wearing the bright pink socks my aunt gave me a year ago. And I hate pink. She must have thought I was still a five year old who liked princess and fairy tales. That was not the case. I was a junior in high school. I was also in the school room where the teacher refused to turn on the heat, because he said the heaters smelled funny. Frost even covered the inside of the windows, but he would deny all facts around him, to keep the heaters shut down. Therefore, I had to tough it out with the rest of the class. But it wouldn’t be long now. Just a few more minutes, then it would all be over.
