A FRIENDSHIP ROSE

This single red rose is a thing of beauty,

It is layered in an intricate web of petals

That will unfold in the days to come

And blossom into a beautiful flower.

One can but look at a beautiful rose

And smile as you get a warm feeling inside.

When I look at or think of a rose

It reminds me of us and our relationship.

It is definitely a beautiful friendship we share,

That is full of wild, wonderful and silly contradictions and similarities.

We’ve grown individually and collectively and I like what I see.

And I know you must feel good inside whenever reminiscing of our escapades.
