Tico is a creamy yellow pencil who has sharp lead. He bounces on his eraser. He doesn’t have any family or friends. Whatever he draws doesn’t have color. His life is lonely.
Yola is a box of crayons. The only thing she can draw is blotches of color. She wants a happy life. Her life is very colorful, but not very interesting.
Tico was looking for some color while drawing. He drew a rainbow, but it wasn’t pretty. He drew himself a city, but it was still lonely. He felt like the worst pencil in the whole world.
Yola was looking for someone to draw something for her. She felt so sad. She thought that if she met someone who could draw, they could make a world together.
