INTRODUCTION

From the moment my father brought me to the cinema for the fist time when I was about 4-years old and we watched the amazing movie “Ben-Hur”, my dream to become a filmmaker began. That dream is what I like to share with everyone, specially those Filipino aspiring scriptwriters & filmmakers all over the world, through this compilation of screenplays, synopsis or storylines & sequence treatments I have written for my own indie film projects. In this book, “Mangyan and other Screenplays”, the screenplay, which is definitely the backbone of every movie, hopefully, by showcasing actual, original samples & formats, could serve as a guide for students, aspiring scriptwriters & filmmakers, and those who just need new materials to read.
