Rae crossed her legs, fidgeting in her seat. She pressed her standard black skirt, the same as everyone else’s in the class, but it was already perfect.
The warmth, the neediness, crossed her thighs, working its way inside. Her heart pounded, adrenaline pumped, and she trembled, small pulses finding their way through.
“I heard it was a government plane. Some kind of secret weapon.”
Mrs. Krillbrenner droned on to the class. She read directly from the book, a tome on Catholic history. Rae should have been paying attention. In fact, she tried, pressing closer in her seat, focusing her attention, yet it remained on the strange, rising sensation.
Mrs. Krillbrenner would only stop them from talking if they were loud enough where she could hear them, and that was very loud.
“Dave went back there to see. He said he got turned away by some guy in a suit. Said he wasn’t allowed back there.”
“Ooh, that’s so creepy.”
“What if it’s aliens?”
Rae’s thighs trembled. She gripped her hair, twirling it in her fingers. She knew that she did this when she was nervous, and it didn’t make her feel any better. She uncrossed her legs, spreading them wide.
