Firstly of all, I would like to thank Iain Sanderson, my partner in life. Without him, I am not sure this project would have been completed.
Of course – there was always the screenplay I had written that begged to become a novel too. It was completed, and we both thought “Camera ready”.
But, just because you have an idea, and the idea is pretty much ready to go, doesn’t always mean that you are going to finish it. For that matter – sometimes even starting it.
I don’t likely have to tell you this as I am sure, you all have one or more experiences in your life where you knew you could do it, you wanted to, but just never got around to it. I have always thought that one thing in us that is really annoying is our ability to talk ourselves out of a good idea.
With Iain here, and his undying encouragement, that made talking myself out of it pretty much impossible.
Yes – without him, there is a very good chance that what you are reading here would have never actually made it from my mind to this page – virtual or otherwise.
Secondly, I would like to thank Smashwords.com. The platform they have provided for new Authors is nothing short of incredible!
I would also like to thank all the members of the Toronto Film Community.
Whether you have been supportive or not: each interaction with each of you that I have interacted with, makes me feel as if you are all part of my career family. Most of you have been incredibly supportive, even if you didn’t think you were being so.
