We are called to care for God's creation.
He wants us to love the land, and
enjoy the beauty of the world He created.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

It is our job to keep the planet clean.
We cannot eat food grown on polluted land,
or swim in contaminated water.
Genesis 1:26 (NIV®)
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our
likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds
of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the
creatures that move along the ground.”

Much of what we throw away ends up in a landfill.
To reduce waste, we can recycle items such as
paper, glass and plastic. These materials
can be transformed and used again.
