Tommy Stradler was having a terrible day at the office. He had just put in another 80 hour work week for the biggest accounting firm in Los Angeles. 80 hours of pointless meetings and boring paperwork. 80 hours of making money for people he wouldn’t piss on if they were on fire.

What the fuck am I doing with my life,” he thought to himself, “this job is going kill me.”

Tommy had no social life. He barely even talked to any his old friends. His life was in a rut, and for Tommy at least, there seemed to be no way out. His brother Art, however, was beginning to sense Tommy’s increasing depression and had taken it upon himself to try and help.

“I’ve got tickets to the Lakers tonight, you’re coming with. No buts man, you haven’t been out on the town in almost a year.”

Despite his initial protests, Tommy knew that his brother was right and by lunch had resigned himself to doing his best to enjoy the evening. After what seemed like forever, 7 o’clock finally rolled around. After polishing off his 5th coffee of the day, Tommy walked out the office suite and waited for the elevator to take him down to the parking garage.
