It was always a risk taking the MG out farther than you could comfortably walk back, especially at night. But I so badly needed to think, that it seemed an acceptable risk. There was something about the night air in your hair that helped you to think clearly, and the canopy of stars overhead that helped put even the most devastating of personal crises into perspective.
