Introduction
Individuals with food allergies are constantly faced with the need to make trade-offs in their everyday food choices. As a food-allergy mom, I strive for holiday meals to be completely allergen-free. My food-allergic son has to make enough trade-offs throughout the year. Holidays should be a time when every single dish on the table is something he can share in and enjoy. In that spirit, I share with you some of my family’s favorite recipes, free of the top eight allergens (wheat, milk, eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish), and gluten-free.
