The relationship between a citizen and his country should be the same as between a john and his whore. If they provide you with what you need, you owe them reasonable compensation and the common consideration due any service provider. If they do not, or if they demand what is unreasonable for their services provided, you owe them nothing more. Love has no place in either relationship

This country we live in - and many others - is like a bunch of drowning passengers desperately trying to save a worthless, rotting, hole filled lifeboat, and fighting and dying defending it from those who want to scrap it and give them a better one.
