Ten Moments in Time

Flash Fiction, in my view, is for getting to the point but leaving enough time or space for you, dear reader, to exercise your own imagination. Here are ten examples for you to enjoy.
It rained day after day for three weeks. Warm rain admittedly and the children didn't complain.
Alan did. Incessantly. Whiningly. Maddeningly.
The caravan was cramped so I sent the kids outside. They were happy in their rain-suits. I sat on the sofa-bed reading my book. Trying to relax.
But Alan continued moaning.
In the end I snapped.
Afterwards the sun shone as they came to take me away.
