I could write about many things, but what I want to talk to you about, right now, is the purpose of life according to the man with 1,000 lovers.

He's the one who wrote Ecclesiastes, almost certainly. He starts off the book by declaring, "Vanity of vanities! All is vanity." Or, "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless," depending on which translation you read. The message is the same, though.
