Don’t runaway from your Blackness


We where born with it, it’s a birthright,


Some people would rather lie and say they’re white.


That’s funny, that black on your skin doesn’t run when you take a shower,


You wish it could so that you can fit in with the white man’s power.


Somewhere down the line someone made you ashamed of your skin color,


Making excuse after excuse about being anything but a brother.


Running from your color but you can’t hide from your ass,




,Saying that your white, your Indian, your Italian so that you can pass.


You can’t hide God’s creation from what is reality,


You can’t hide nothing because everybody else can see.


Calling someone a racist every time you suspect that they did something,


You can’t even admit you’re black because they made you think you’re less than
