Poems of Inspiration

By Eyes of Wonder

Fear and Creation

What if you could take every droplet of fear that seeps into your mind

And squeeze it out like the murky filth of a ten-year-old sponge

Then the slate of your mind would be clean with a lick of light, ready

For whatever drawing you wish to sketch,

A sketch that could one day grow into a story, replete with faces and stars and the green-ness of all forms of life,

A story that could one day flow through your hands and heart and mouth

And find itself on the streets you walk and in the smiles of who walk with you.
