My heartfelt thanks to my loving family and dear friends who saw me
through to the end.
A special thank you to Khristy for helping me believe in it enough to get it published and has prompted me to answer her questions about what happens next in the lives of my characters.
Hugs to you all.
Tai sheltered from his storm of emotions in his mother’s study. His tumultuous thoughts were wrapped up in her book on the healing properties of plants and herbs. He had read her compiled notes many times over the passings and strangely never tired of it. It had become his only link to her. Tai had always found it incomprehensible why such knowledge would not be common amongst all peoples. He and his mother often discussed that issue when away from curious ears. His incessant probing was always met with a knowing smile and definite, but mild, reproach. She would eventually make an attempt to answer his questions but when they were alone.
