Hong Kong buzzes with intense life and a colorful energy like perhaps nowhere else on earth. The city provides so much photography potential it boggles the mind. This special administrative region (SAR) of China encompasses a huge area of more than 1000 square kilometers (425 square miles) which includes Hong Kong Island, plus 262 outlying islands and the Kowloon Peninsula. Hong Kong is wonderfully modern, easy to navigate and surprisingly clean. It is truly an international metropolis where the cityscape views are breathtaking. Add in the myriad city, and wildlife parks, lots of unique and friendly people, plus busy, boat-filled watercourses, which all provide great photo opportunities as well, and you'll find Hong Kong to be simply amazing. Ready your camera!
