Ambassador Tadat, third level leader of the Dyna Clan (itself of no low status in the Takranas) stood outside the school room, his eyes narrowed to hide the flash of gold anger which would badly betray his feelings, even to the humans standing near him.

Since Tadat and his wives lived on Darklin Station in this hive of humanity, he thought it wise to send his daughter to this school where she would learn cooperation and interaction with human children. Unless things changed drastically, she would grow up here, and the youngling would live with humans for many years.

His wives disagreed vehemently after the first few days. They said the human in charge was not wise, though they didn't outright call her a fool. The word held dangerous connotations for a Takra.

Now he watched as the woman patted the human children, and passed by his little Spika without even a smile. The fur and spines on his neck started to lift and flair in anger and shock.
