In an age before the Dark Ages, before iron and steel, before gods were invented, there was a practice thought to be a gift. It was an ability which some came by naturally and others unnaturally. In later years it became known as Majik. This ability has changed over the centuries; how it is used, how it is derived and even how it is thought of.
The characters included in this book, though fictional, travel a very real path learning the very origins and even shaping and changing how magic was used and developing the basis of how it is viewed today. As the world grows older, the places the power resides change. It is obvious that the power, or magic, is still here.
