Captain Dattila Bradfer leered at the visage in the view-screen. "You can't run forever, you know."

"Sure I can," said the woman on the other end of the transmission. Her cheeks were stained white from munitions exposure. "Relativity never seems to catch up."

Bradfer scowled. "Don't flatter yourself. You've always been a hag, Vissevia."

The other woman pulled white-blonde hair out of her leathery face and laughed. "Yeah, well... let's see if you've got what it takes to catch this old witch."
