‘Liberty!’

The rebel leader’s voice echoed from the dimly lit cellar walls. ‘That’s what the government promised us before they came to power, comrades! Democracy, popular rule! And what have they given us?’

Derek glanced at the crowd surrounding him. Tall, khaki-clad young men and women with abbreviated Mohawks towered over him and his three friends, faces intent on the uniformed figure who dominated the podium; grimly fixed in anger at the rulers who had seized power five months before. Iggy glanced at him, his wild eyes gleaming over a bulbous nose.
