I realized I’d been in Second Life too long when one morning my son was running late and woke me up to drive him to the bus stop. In my half-sleep state I mumbled, “Okay, but this time let’s get a landmark, okay?”
“Huh?” he asked, confused.
“So we won’t have to drive next time,” I explained with – what I perceived to be – common sense.
“Huh?” my son repeated, louder.
“You know,” I mumbled, opening my eyes half way. “So we can just TP next time!”
“Mom, what are you talking about?” my son asked in alarm.
