In the Beginning

Maloy slunk down the steps of the cathedral, holding his robes tightly about him. A snarl curved his lip as he once again thought of those who had whipped him. Whipped him until he confessed his sin and repented. In truth, Maloy had still lied and he repented nothing. They would pay for their savage suppression of him and his skills. Their time would soon be upon them.
