Tyler Martin was enchanted by the sight of the early morning traffic moving toward the main road. Her grandfather had mentioned that the view from the hill was spectacular in the morning, but she hadn’t gotten the chance to appreciate it ‘til now. She was now finally able to see past the boring sights that had blocked her vision. Every time she thought of Winter Haven, the place her grandfather had sworn was so beautiful, her mind flooded with the same imagery: old wooden houses divided by trees, water and distance. She lived in one of those houses. She lived in this Winter Haven, quiet, hidden and covered under that gloomy sky of boredom.
